Welcome to Skeeterz Rum Bar and Grill, a down island tropical escape located on mother natures finest creation, St. Lucia. Often referred to as natures Paradise, St. Lucia is home to Skeeterz Rum Bar where you can relax, cool out and get into a tropical state of mind...maybe you and your friends would enjoy an ice cold Piton beer and a few cheeseburgers while in paradise to get ya going. Or if you prefer something a lil different, try some of the best Caribbean style chicken wings in the Caribbean.

So, what's a Rum Bar anyway? Down here in the Caribbean chain of "down islands", the locals refer to most any alcohol as rum, its a generic term for liquor, and usually served at a Rum Shack. So, we made a few updates and created a modern version of a rum shanck, we call it a rum bar. >READ MORE |

Skeeterz isn't a fancy, over-commercialized place where tourists hang out, we're quite the opposite. We offer a one-of-a-kind down island experience that allows traveler's to the Caribbean to have fun and socialize in true St. Lucia culture, where you're treated as if you're an old friend who came back to visit - all in a fun tropical atmosphere where everyone loves to party, relax and cool out to island music.
OK, where the heck is Skeeterz? We are located at Latitude 13° 43' 0 N, Longitude 60° 57' 0 W (see map), deep in the Caribbean on the beautiful tropical island of Saint Lucia, in the West Indies, between Martinique and St. Vincent and North West of Barbados. Once here, we're only minutes from St. Lucia's Hewannora International Airport on the South end of the island...just tell the Taxi driver to take you to Skeeterz and he'll bring you right over...or, give us a call and we'll send someone over to pick you up...and when you get here, your first Piton Beer is on us!

What about those Mosquitoes?
No problem, Get Buzzed or Get Bit...that's what the islanders say; "if you have enough rum in your blood, the Mosquitoes will fly off and leave ya alone"...we just happen to believe them. It's a real world recipe to keep the lil' buggers away, and it's kind of a green solution too. If ya don't drink the rum, we also have non-alcohol favorites like Ting...and we make grrrreat TINGerz, but they have alcohol, so just ask for a few cans of repellent and and a coke, we'll make sure you're comfortable...but trust us, if at all possible, the rum is the way to do it! |
